I painted my first, site-specific stencil in Lisbon, Portugal in 2008 and my last one in London, England in 2013.

During those five years of my career, I shifted my focus away from the iconic arrow logo and started for the first time painting figurative stencil works.

My intention with my stencil works was to always incorporate, build, and expand on the urban landscape.

I would have a ‘scene’ in my mind and then I would walk, curiously through a city looking for a site-specific location that would serve as the stage for that idea.

A wire hanging from a wall, a shadow cast from a street lamp, or a hole in a wall, were all incredible inspirations for me to create a scene.

My stencil works allowed me to address and bring to light heavy social, political, and contemporary issues that were relevant during that period.

Undoubtedly, my stencil works connected with the mainstream population, making this style of my ABOVE works, some of my most famous.
